The Kunisaki Peninsula is far away from big cities such as Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka, and it is difficult go round by public transportation. That is why we recommend you to use a rental car or a taxi. Trains are also available or Oita Airport located directly in Kunisaki Peninsula. Regular ferry services run between between Oita and Kansai region with overnight services also available.
